Henna Applicators

  1. Place henna paste in a zip bag, close zip and snip a bottom corner about ¼ in diameter.
  2. Plastic or Mylar cone: Squeeze out henna from the zip bag into an applicator cone or a hand-rolled Mylar cone.
  3. Snip a fine opening the size of a pinhole at the tip of the cone (if the Mylar cone already has a pin-size opening you may not need to snip the tip).
  4. Slide down the paste towards the tip with your fingertips.
  5. Close the open end with a rubber band.  Note: The plastic cones are reusable! Applicator Bottle:
  6. Squeeze out henna from the zip bag into the applicator bottle, tapping the bottle on a table top to remove air bubbles.
  7. Close the bottle and twist the plastic tip onto the nozzle until snug.
  8. Wash out tip after each use to prevent clogging.

Hint:  It is easier to put the paste into a plastic cone rather than a zip bag, snip a hole about 1/4 in diameter at the tip of the cone and use it to squeeze out henna paste into the applicator bottle.
